We make our ready-to-drink iced tea one batch at a time, handcrafted for quality -- rather than simply machine-measured or mixed. It takes a little more work, but the end product is worth it.
Health-conscious people love the natural, organic, non-GMO teas -- which contain less than a third of the calories or sugar of competing brands (or none at all) while providing superior taste, thanks to award-winning premium estate leaves, whole herbs, and superior product care. We use natural spring water and whole tea leaves (rather than concentrates or chemically crystallized powders) and absolutely no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, or preservatives.
Long Life is a member of the OTA (Organic Trade Association), and we're one of the only iced-tea manufacturers to be Certified by QAI (Quality Assurance International).
To be QAI-Certified as organic, a product must contain no less than 95% organic ingredients and be grown and handled free of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides.
Both our ingredients and our manufacturing facility are QAI-certified as organic and we use only environmentally-safe cleaning methods with no pesticides.
We also insist on a lot-number by lot-number audit trail so if a consumer calls about any of our products, we can actually trace every ingredient back to individual farmers to ensure purity.
Our tea was one of the first non-GMO (Genetically-Modified Organisms) varieties on the market. For example, a primary ingredient in many bottled teas is high-fructose corn syrup. This is noteworthy since over half of the corn grown in the U.S. may come from genetically-modified seeds. We don't use corn syrup - instead we use natural sweeteners like honey, fructose, agave nectar, and evaporated cane juice.
So, each 3,000 gallon "cup" of iced tea we make features many healthy benefits along with exceptional good taste.
